
Chief Executive Officer
Jeff Johnson serves as Chief Executive Officer of Augustus Global Development Group.
In addition to his primary responsibilities leading and managing the firm, Mr. Johnson remains closely involved with new business development, design team management, project entitlement review and coordination, project team selection, design and construction contract assembly and approval, pre-construction subcontractor scope reviews and award evaluation, and project oversight throughout all phases of the development, design, and construction process.
Prior to joining AGDG, Jeff worked for The John Buck Company where he served on the company’s Board of Directors and was principal of the Development and Construction Division where he managed a team of project management professionals and led business development efforts. As principal, he was responsible for the entitlement, design, construction, and operations integration of a project portfolio totaling $2 billion.
With over 23 years’ experience in Project Management, Architecture, and Facility/Property Operations and Management, Jeff previously directed the development and management of a 12 property, $300 million global real estate portfolio for a high net worth individual and held various advisory roles in development management, design management, and property management with Jones Lang LaSalle, and U.S. based global architecture firms.
Jeff is a Registered Architect (license currently inactive) and a LEED Accredited Professional. He earned his Master of Architecture from Illinois Institute of Technology, and a B.A. from Lake Forest College.
