Jeff Johnson serves as Chief Executive Officer of Augustus Global Development Group. In addition to his primary responsibility of leading and managing the firm, he remains closely involved with new business development, design team management, project entitlement review and coordination, project team selection, design and construction contract assembly and approval, pre-construction subcontractor scope reviews and award evaluation, and project oversight throughout all phases of the development, design, and construction process.
Prior to joining Augustus Global Development, Jeff worked for The John Buck Company where he was Principal of the Development and Construction Division. As principal he was responsible for the entitlement, design, construction, and operations integration of a portfolio of over $2 Billion USD in projects. In addition to managing a team of project management professionals he lead business development efforts and served on the company’s Board of Directors. Prior to The John Buck Company Jeff directed the development and management of a 12 property, $300 million global real estate portfolio for a high net worth individual and has held various advisory roles in development management, design management, and property management with Jones Lang LaSalle, and US based global architecture firms. Jeff has over 23 years of experience in the real estate industry in Project Management, Architecture, and Facility/Property Operations and Management.
Jeff is a Registered Architect (license currently inactive) and a LEED Accredited Professional. He earned his Master of Architecture from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest.
