For decades, the Mogamma at Tahir Square was the center of the Egyptian administrative state. Today, it is being reimagined as a luxury lifestyle hotel under the name Cairo House. The first of repurposed government buildings, it will be a catalyst for a downtown revival.

Once completed, Cairo House will be part of Marriott’s Autograph collection and feature multiple meeting and event spaces, world-class food and beverage venues, a spectacular 360-degree tri-level rooftop destination with pool, restaurant, nightlife and views to the Nile.

Designed by London’s Foster + Partners, the two towers will occupy a prominent location on the eastern bank of the Nile River—one that is internationally recognized and a destination for local residents and visitors alike.
